The walls; they are alive. It bubbles and blinks at me, A constant glare that follows me. Don't you see it? The eyes? They seem to be everywhere. Every stumble, every fall, every stuttered syllable; It gobbles everything in, mercilessly...It chews me in and spits me out. A lab rat designed to be censured and to take on relentless scrutiny; I swear, I can't, not anymore, Can you tell them to look away? Don't you see them? The eyes? They seem to be everywhere. They've made their way to the little burrow that I've made. They are crawling on me. They bore holes onto me and creep underneath my skin, I can feel them boiling within me. Please tell them to stop... Oh! Don't you see them? The eyes? They seem to be everywhere. A sad masochistic cocoon of ever-present stares. And they watch, as the worst of me unwinds and spills forth, My very own demons, shredding me into senseless bits, In a hopeless hole of watchful eyes, Stripping me down and skinning me alive, Taking me apart and tearing me into splinters until I am nothing. Don't you see them? The eyes? They seem to be everywhere. THEY ARE RIGHT THERE! Can you please just see? The walls are teaming with those eyes. Look! They are watching.. They are glaring at you. And they will be taking you apart...They always do.
