‘The Submission’ was the bizarre aftermath of my thoughts on the Simulation Theory, the future of humanity, and the irreversibility affiliated with human errors. I pictured a world where everything else on the food chain – ‘the understudy’ turn on the species at the top of the food chain – humans. In this world, perhaps intelligence may have stepped into the bleachers and pure brute may be the force in command or it could be that every other species may have developed some latent form of intelligence, enough to dethrone the humans. Whatever it may be, in the world of ‘The Submission’, the human is but an object that can be maneuvered and used in ways which the other species see fit.
